Honestly, when I feel like I haven’t accomplished much, I should flash back to these makeovers. Boy, do I love rescuing good, old junk!

To give your home decor industrial style, there’s no better accessory than on old toolbox. In this post, I shared a bunch of fun ways to refresh and repurpose these vintage treasures. Don’t ask me to count how many are floating around my house;)

I am not a food blogger, and I have no desire to be one. But my family’s got to eat, and my creativity does extend to the kitchen. So every once in awhile, I share some family favorites. When there are fresh baked muffins in my house, all is well with the world!
4) Upcycled Old Garden Fencing Cloche How To
This was personally my favorite repurpose of the whole year! I love vintage birdcages, and this upcycle reminds me of their shape. This garden fencing is fairly easy to find, and I have enjoyed using this piece both inside and out all year long. I have a feeling quite a few more of these will be made!
3) 10 Styling Ideas That Make Glass Front Cabinet Displays Beautiful
Glass front cabinets are my solution to enjoying a lot of vintage finds in a space challenged home. They are fun to style, and I don’t feel like my house is cluttered when the pretty is contained. You must realize their decor potential, too!
2) Upcycled Old Tin Organizer DIY
Old tins have such fun graphics. This project is a great way to repurpose all that vintage goodness into a practical home accessory.
1) Simple Garden Theme Decor DIY
And coming in at #1 is about the most simple idea ever! I shared this floral idea in our monthly Thrifty Style Team challenge, and I guess it must have also been very liked in the Hometalk community. Honestly, it was one of those last-minute, I’ve got to come up with something easy kind of projects. But maybe that’s the best kind! Taking something totally mundane, adding a little creativity, and beauty comes out!
Did you find some of your favorites on this list? I was glad to see a combination of DIY and home decor posts, even with a recipe thrown in. If I had to stick to just one of those, I think I’d get bored. Variety is the spice of life…especially for creative types!

I’m wondering how I missed your #1 post?!? What a fun idea! Not ready to be done with winter yet( even on this -16 morning 🥶😊), but give me a few months & that will be a perfect little project to bring a bit of Spring into our home. Also really like all your”dishy” ideas- good reminder that dishes are far more usable than just to eat off ! And I do love dishes…..
