Most Popular Posts of 2020
Let’s look back and see what the most popular posts were from 2020! A fun overview of the best repurposed DIY projects and vintage-inspired decorating.
The end of the year is a great time to look back and see all the creative projects you’ve accomplished! I like to dig into my google analytics and really see what posts you’re enjoying the most, so I can do more of that. This year’s top posts were a great variety of DIY repurposed projects and vintage-inspired decorating and styling. I met many new blogging friends this year and have been inspired and creatively challenged by such talented ladies! Here are the Most Popular Posts of 2020.
Most Popular Posts of 2020
Our biggest home accomplishment this year was definitely remodeling our upstairs bathroom {“Vintage Modern Bathroom Remodel Reveal”}, so I’m not surprised that two of the projects we did for it made the list! I’m guessing there’s plenty of others who have bathrooms awaiting a refresh, also!

1) How to Repurpose a Vintage Buffet into a DIY Bathroom Vanity
Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a box-store bathroom vanity, I gave a $145 vintage buffet a makeover. Still loving how this piece works and functions in the bathroom.
2) How to Upcycle Vintage Metal Trays into a Tiered Stand
Whenever I have a lot of something, I am inspired to come up with a creative new way to use it. These old metal trays have such great patterns; this is a fun repurpose for them (and another way to use up some spindles).
3) Barn Door/Sliding Door Installation with a Vintage Door and Low Ceilings
Here’s the other bathroom remodel post that ended up in the most popular. First…it’s an awesome vintage door, second…who doesn’t love saving precious square feet?
4) A Christmas Kitchen with Vintage Nostalgia
Think everyone was craving those the-way-we-were bygone days this year! We’re still enjoying this cozy decor!
5) DIY Repurposed Mirror Frame with Vintage Tin
A true trash to treasure project! This curbside find is a fun new addition to decorate with!
6) Decorating a Northwoods Cabin with Vintage Camp Style
A friend and I had a cozy weekend at her cabin and had so much fun decorating with all her vintage finds!
7) Easy and Fun Ways to Decorate with Vintage Wooden Crates
I joined along with several other vintage-loving friends this year for a Lifestyle of Love blog hop. Cindy from County Road 407 picks a theme and we all show how we use this item in our homes. These posts are so fun and have been very popular. Can’t wait to do more of these posts in 2021!
8) Decorating the Summer Porch with Refreshed Vintage Finds
Cindy also coordinates a monthly Pinterest Challenge, where we all use an inspirational pic to design around. I have way too much fun with these challenges, too! This summer’s porch turned out to be one of my favorites. I decorated with so many refreshed and repurposed finds I’d just picked up in the spring {“Curbside Junking Vintage Finds, Best Ever”}.
9) Repurposed Wooden Spindle Carrot Wreath DIY
Yes, I have amassed quite a large old spindle collection through the years! Because there are so many fun things you can make with them! Two of my spindle projects made the most popular list this year; less of them in the garage, and more fun pieces to decorate with!
10) 16 Vintage Repurposed Junk Projects with Garden Style
This post is a round up of favorite repurposed vintage junk projects with an outdoor and garden theme.
11) Easy and Fun Ways to Repurpose and Decorate Old Frames
Old frames are a decorators secret sauce! Click over and see all the ways you can use them to decorate and organize your home.
12) DIY Repurposed Candlesticks with Sheet Metal Shades
This is a recent one, but it’s already made the most popular list; wow! So glad this project finally got out of my head and into my house!
Did you have any favorites this year you’d add to the list?
This year has definitely been challenging for us all, but I’m so thankful to have made so many new friends here in this online space. Other creative bloggers and readers, alike!
Thank you for faithfully reading and following! I so treasure your comments and love hearing from you!
Here’s to a whole new year of vintage-inspired projects and decor! Can’t wait for all the new things I’m going to learn and be able to share with you! (spoiler alert…I’m intent on adding video…just have to figure it out;)
