  5. Fabulous ideas. I have a 100 year old five foot tall bird cage that has been without a bird for years. I’m going to hang some pansies in it! Thanks!

  7. Lora, thank you for the idea to use a birdcage! I have a flat-backed one I picked up at one of the Christmas sales Judith of Botanic Bleu had at her home here in Texas. I’ve been thinking what I could do with it for the season.

    I love the old birdbath filled with succulents, too. Sooo many good ideas, thank you!

  9. You have the best vintage containers, Lora! I have a bird cage similar to yours that I was going to put in the trash pile because it was so rusty. But now I realize I can totally bring it back to life with a few plants. Can’t wait to get started on these new ideas, I feel inspired! Big hugs, CoCo

  11. Oh my golly! I’ve never thought to decorate any of my containers with plants. I love the little chicks. And wowza, the toolbox, the ladder, and the birdcage…!!!       It’s been around a long time, Rachel;) Sold several when I had my shop-the everlasting version. I kept finding colorful old hoses on the curb; had to figure out something to do with them:)

  13. You are the best container gardener I know and have give me lots of ideas, thanks so much. I bought an old bicycle and put a basket on the front and someone stole it so, I put up a little picket fence.
