Handpicked Favorites
What should you be scooping up in September? Here are my handpicked favorites product recommendations for the month of September.

School started this week here in the north, so it’s officially fall! Time to switch up the seasons and embrace new colors and textures. The gardens are enjoying their last hurrah and are perfect for lush, foraged arrangements. September is a month to be savored, indeed! Let’s kick off the new season with my Handpicked Favorites.

I usually join some friends for this series, but the logistics didn’t work out this month. But you’ll still get my favorites, that I’m crushing on this month, because I know many of you love these posts:)
All About the Pumpkins

September is the month to pull out the pumpkins (and grab a pumpkin spice anything). Terra Cotta jack o lanterns have been the craze lately and there are a wide variety of inexpensive, cute ones available.
I like to tuck jack o lanterns in with the rest of my pumpkin collection, and then simply take them away after Halloween. (you can find the orange plaid pillow cover HERE)
Here’s a collection of my favorite jack o lanterns for the season. They sell out quickly, so act fast!
Game Nights
As the weather cools and nights get darker, it’s time to pull out the board games! I’m not a big game player, but THIS one I actually like to play. It’s easy, has strategy, and can be played with 4+ players. Great gift idea, too!

What I’m Reading
I usually have a couple books I’m reading at a time-always non-fiction. THIS book is showing me how to flatten out my glucose spikes with simple hacks, like switching up the order of foods; brilliant!
Since fall feels like the start of a new year, I treated myself to THIS beautiful book. I love to use her books as daily devotionals, and enjoy her inspiring watercolor art, too. This book focuses on God’s character and includes verses from classic hymns.

Darker Nights=More Lighting
As the nights grow darker, I love to tuck lighting here and there; it just makes your home so cozy. Rechargeable lamps with wicker shades cast beautiful light, and can be tucked anywhere. Find inexpensive versions HERE. (you’ll want more than one)
I also love THESE battery operated remote control candles. I tuck them throughout bookshelves and in foliage so I can enjoy my vintage vignettes at night. They’re a great newlywed gift idea, too.

I made your Italian Zucchini Quiche last night. It was delicious !! I had many tomatoes given to us by friends so this was perfect. I also threw in some spinach that I needed to use up. Thank you for a great dish. This is a keeper !
Yum; so glad you enjoyed it!
