Happy Valentine’s weekend! This first 1/2 of February passed by me in a blink! Didn’t we just turn the calendar to 2021? Hope you have a special Valentine’s Day and are surrounded by some of your loves! (and maybe some chocolate;) Here’s my Weekly Rambles!

This Week’s Thoughts:

~~The weather person said we are the coldest place in North America for the next 4 days. Record breaking. High of-2 for 4 days straight! I am loving the electric blanket throw we have on our living room couch. (you can get one HERE). Seriously, it will be on my legs every night until Spring! So cozy.

~~Bloggers are starting the Spring blog hop lineups, so I’m brainstorming my home’s next decor change. I’m thinking a potting shed/gardening theme to go along with the green lockers we popped in the living room? (still need to work on them) And/or some botanical touches. 

~~To go along with that thought pattern, I probably should order a couple Spring pillow covers, so I can add some embellishments to them, like I did for Christmas {“How to Easily Give Purchased Pillow Covers Custom Charm”}I’m liking THESE and THESE. 

~~I’m quite happy with myself that I figured out how to put the recipe cards on my blog posts. {see “Delicious Dessert Crepes“}. Technology can be such a challenge some days!  I just know I appreciate being able to instantly print off a recipe that sounds good and pop it into my old fashioned wooden recipe box. I’ll be adding these recipe cards to my old recipe posts, too. 

~~My Happy Girl went back to campus for her last semester of college:( I miss her already. Back to a house full of men. They just don’t sporadically make homemade cookies, bread and wash dishes like she did. Yes, I love my boys, but…it’s just not the same.
