Spring Tea Link Party Favorites
I had so much fun looking through all the springtime posts from last weekend’s link party! {“Spring Tea and Roses Link Party”} Such a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon when one is recovering from a long weekend! Today I’ll share my favorite bits of inspiration, in case you missed it!
Kelly Lynn’s Sweets and Treats shared a yummy recipe for “Apple Cinnamon Scones” that I need to try! I’m pretty stuck on my own scone recipe that I had at my “Picnic Basket Picnic with Tea and Roses” , but Kelly Lynn’s recipe has me intrigued with it’s nutmeg, chunks of sugared apples and heavy whipping cream in the ingredients! They sound amazing!
Lecultivateur shared an ingenious Mirror Gallery Wall. I believe all vintage is better en masse, and I love how the differently textured mirror frames combine together as a beautiful collection. (Also good for vintage mirror hoarders who can’t decide on just one;) She even shared how to hang them to achieve the depth. Popping this on my Pinterest board to do in a someday bathroom!
VinYet etc came up with a fun re-purpose for vintage folding rulers…add succulents! What could be better than combining great junk with architectural plant life? Perfect timing, since I’ve still got to spruce up my porch, and plant all my pots! Check out all of Laurie’s porch inspiration; it’s just lovely!
The Colorful Wings Journal shared her “Top 10 Tips for a Stunning Tablescape”. Not only is her fresh, meadow-like tablescape beautiful, I loved the tips she shared on how to create a unique table scene! And those sweet plates with the butterflies:) I think she and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to decorating a beautiful table {“Add Luscious Layers to your Tablescape“, “An Organic, Vintage Easter Table“}. Pop on over to take a look; I wasn’t able to grab her pic:(
So Much Better With Age gave a great tip on how to fill large planter pots and not use so much dirt: packing peanuts! I love this idea! You know I’ve got 3 old garbage cans next to my garage that are my junky planters this year {“Spruce Tips 101”}. I’ve already got a bunch of old plastic containers in them to take up space, but the packing peanuts is a great idea, too! I also love the pots she used and her variety of plants; just lovely!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my favorites from the Spring Tea link up party! If you missed the blog hop from all 12 of us bloggers, make sure you check it out on my “Picnic Basket Picnic with Tea and Roses” post. Thanks, again, to Amber at “Follow The Yellow Brick Home” for organizing! Check out her blog hop highlights, also!
Now that spring is officially over, it’s time to get our summer on! Can’t wait to see summer inspiration all over blogdom!
Thank you for featuring my scones!! Have a great day 🙂
You’re so welcome, Kelly Lynn!
