  1. I LOVE your Christmas mason jar project (inside a canning jar lifter) that you filled with candy and sold at your former store. I plan to recreate this idea and sell in my booth this Christmas. Did you have any trouble selling the jars with unwrapped peppermint sticks and mints? I think the jars are much more attractive with unwrapped candy but not sure what the customers would like. Do you have any other recommendations for fillers? And maybe fillers for fall too? Thanks and I enjoy recreating your projects!

We sold them like crazy. But we usually only put out one or two at a time, so customers would think the supply is limited. Never had a problem with the candy being unwrapped…besides people sneaking one once in awhile. Also sold them in a summer version with aqua jars and pebbles, but the Christmas version was definitely the favorite. Think everyone loves the nostalgic vibe. See my post on Fall fillers for autumn ideas: https://lorabloomquist.com/vase-filler-ideas-for-fall-decor/ Customers always wanted to buy the little votive cups, because they knew they had the jars and usually lifters at home. Some customers want it all done and ready to plop in place, others want to do it themselves. Good luck!

  2. Lora, so many wonderful ideas for candle stick holders. My favorite is the pitcher and using a fluted tea candle holder on top of a mason jar. Thanks for linking up with us today and sharing. Have a great week.- Meagan

  5. You always have the most creative ideas for using vintage pieces. I love all the color you use with the candlesticks instead of playing it safe with white. The tealight holder in the mason jar is brilliant. so much fun inspiration, love all you do, Lora!!! Happy weekend!!

We look at enough white outside the window; definitely need to see some colors inside! Thanks so much, Debra!

I had no idea the little tealight holders would fit on top of a Mason jar!!! I’m so excited about this. And using a silver pitcher! Thank you for all the fantastic inspo. Everything is so you and so fun. Even the simple candlesticks in a window. I’ve not done that either but can hardly wait to try! My little brain just doesn’t think like yours and I’m super jealous. pinned.
