A simple bunch of branches and a basket is all you need for easy, seasonal decorating. Here’s how.
Transitioning your home decor from season to season doesn’t have to be hard. If you start with a basic foundation, you can add seasonal elements to reflect the time of year. Today I’ll show you how in this Easy Seasonal Decorating Ideas with Branches.

Our inspiration pic comes from Sarah Joy Blog. Sarah shares how to decorate with real Fall branches throughout your home.
Rather than try to imitate this picture, I decided to run with the idea of all the ways you can decorate with branches in a basket throughout the year. Because sometimes it’s nice to have a spot in your home where you can make a couple simple changes and have instant seasonal flair!
I think an entryway can be the perfect place for easy, quick, seasonal decor that reflects the time of year. Hopefully you’ll want to grab a bunch of sticks and a basket when you finish reading!

Summer Ideas for Decorating Branches
{“DIY Fabric Roses, Vintage Farmhouse Style“}
By now you’re probably getting the hang of this, and your gears are starting to turn, right? During the summer months, Patriotic decor can span quite a few holidays. Add freshly colored green foliage along with red, white and blue for a happy hello!
Did you notice how some of the decor elements are tucked in with the branches up high, and sometimes it just sits at the base of the sticks? Varying where you place your extra seasonal decor can also make the branches and basket look completely different.
Hopefully you’re trying to decide where you can decorate with a basket-full of branches at your home! It really can be a fun way to seasonally decorate without spending too much time, or money!

Lora, such great ideas and details for using foliage and flowers throughout the year. Love your suggestions.
Thanks, Carol!
I also love having a spot that I can easily change out for the seasons. My family teases me and says I change it out way more often than seasonally but I’m okay with that. I love to decorate! All of your ideas are so cute. Thanks so much for joining in. Pinned!
Yes, having an “easy button” spot is kind of nice;)
Hey Lora! I do something similar with a silk arrangement on the mantel. It had white blossomy branches with yellow peony type flowers for the summer and I just added large sunflowers and orangey large mums to the mix. Not sure what’ll happen at Christmas time! I might have to switch to your cute branches for the base. Thanks for the inspiration!
