Weekly Rambles is a summary of the week, plus favorite decor and creative inspiration from around the web.
Welcome to my new blog series, Weekly Rambles! This is where I summarize the week and share fun decorating and creativity I’ve found on the web. Enjoy!

~~I haven’t had a chance to share our “new” dining room chandelier with you yet! Yes, we picked it up in a curbside pile last Spring {“Curbside Junking Vintage Finds, Best Ever”}. With a little wipe down and a lot of re-wiring, it’s providing great light and tons of beauty! Along with our new beadboard ceiling and crown molding, just keep looking up if you come to our house; that’s where the pretty is:)
~~My mom’s Valentines tree got it’s decorations this week. When I was in college and feeling bad I didn’t have a sweetheart, she and my sister and grandma crafted up a bunch of handmade Valentine decorations and surprised me with them. For many years we enjoyed a Valentine tree in our kitchen. The tradition is still going!
~~I had the opportunity to Facebook live with a fun group of vintage dealers this week about blogging. Brooke at The Junk Parlor has a “Staging Your Antiques Booth” mentored group where she teaches about the biz. Check out The Junk Parlor and all her great vintage on IG HERE.
~~Anyone else craving some good vintage finds? I dropped off extras at the thrift store this week, and of course had to go in to redeem my points. Which led me to the dishes isle…I came home with a stack of 36 Spring Pottery Barn dishes for $25! And then, of course, I needed to check out the other close thrift store. I’ve been in the blue and green mood lately; you can certainly tell by the glassware I came home with!
~~Happy Girl and I are rewatching the “Anne with an E” series on Netflix, because who doesn’t love spunky Anne of Anne of Green Gables? And oh, all the primitive farmhouse things:)

I love this new series. It may take over a week to read all the open sites in my browser but I found them all interesting and added to my Pinterest to do list so thanks! I love beautiful old lamps and light fixtures. The hubby is an electrical contractor who has worked in some fancy Miami mansions and brought home the BEST ones. Yours is a stunner.
Oooh, think I’d like to see your light fixtures collection, Pamela! The old ones have such wonderful details:)
Lots of goodies to enjoy, love your new found chandelier, so pretty. I found lots to pin and my head is swimming, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it, Marlene!
Fun new series, Lora, my browser is full of opened links. Got to love curbside freebies – the chandelier looks great! I’m thrilled to see my bird feeder included in your inspiration around the web section. Thank you very much and have a beautiful Sunday!
