Holiday Inspiration at Bachman’s
Gather Christmas and Holiday Inspiration from Bachman’s, a Midwest Floral and Home Decor Retailer.
Finding Christmas and Holiday inspiration can come in many forms, but getting the opportunity to meander through beautifully decorated displays is always a treat! Bachman’s, a Midwest floral and home decor retailer is based right in my home town of Minneapolis. Today you get to follow along, so you can experience the Holiday Inspiration at Bachman’s, too!
A couple years ago, Bachman’s invited me to tour their growing greenhouses, overflowing with gorgeous poinsettias{“Bachman’s Poinsettia Greenhouse Tour”}. It was quite the experience to see all that beauty! They are definitely the leader of seasonal inspiration in our area. Each new season, Bachman’s visual team decorates an Idea House, near their flagship store, full of beautiful, themed rooms. Of course this year, everything had to change. Instead, a large area of their store got transformed into room-like displays of inspirational ideas; perfect for socially distant shopping! Come along and get inspired!
Holiday Inspiration at Bachman’s
The Glistening Entrance
We entered the Holiday Ideas tour beneath an arch of glittering ornaments, hung by red ribbons. The red, green blues and white theme continued into the fireside room in the pic above. My favorite were the felted and grosgrain ornaments; so pretty and unique!
There are beautiful outdoor pots throughout the store, providing great ideas for unique arrangements. The blue painted sticks in the middle of these colorful pots show how popular blue has become in home decor!
Cozy Pine Cone Lodge Living Room
The Pine Cone Lodge area was a cozy, winter retreat. The room display was wrapped in rustic wood and featured an abundant fireplace area with vintage skis as a backdrop. Forest animals and textures were used with all the cozy winter feels. I could move right in!
I loved the wide variety of different trees they used, mixed with pillar candles.
Gnome for the Holidays Fun
“Gnome for the Holidays” was an appropriate theme throughout much of the tour. The visual team created several oversized gnomes with faux winter greens, perfectly placed for selfies! What a great idea!
The Gnome theme continued with a whole nordic bedroom, complete with a bed nestled in the trees. The birch tree dresser was adorable!
Classic Christmas Kitchen
And of course, Christmas is not complete without a kitchen to bake yummy treats and a gift wrapping station. This area featured several awesome repurposed vintage pieces; a sled was used to hang aprons and a vintage red wagon was upcycled into a cute shelf. One of the reasons I love Bachman’s is because their visual team appreciates vintage pieces and knows how much they make all the new items look great! They work true vintage pieces into many of their displays. The buffet is a great example; love it!
Outdoor Dining
A pergola soared over the top of a beautifully set table. Bachman’s does the best job of setting amazing tablescapes!
Frosty Garden Christmas Decor
Minty greens and classic amaryllis flowers, along with various Santas decorated this pretty area. Faux and fresh flowers mixed together is the best combination. The crisp sparkle in this group reminded me of a frosty winter morning!
Porch Decor Galore
The back area displayed several different themed front door porch areas; so many great ideas! Of course, the last spot was Santa’s home, the North Pole!
Outdoor Fresh Wreaths and Pots for the Season
Of course, the outdoor area was filled with gorgeous evergreen pots and beautifully decorated wreaths. I loved how each of the pots were decorated to coordinate with it’s plaid bow; great styling idea! You’ll always go home with a head full of ideas and inspiration from Bachman’s…and usually a cart-full of goodies, too!
Especially this year, it’s important to support your local retail stores, no matter their size. We know what a bummer it is to not be able to go shopping; let’s keep these retailers in business! I know I appreciate how stores have bent over backwards to make sure their shoppers and employees are safe.
Thanks, Bachman’s for providing Christmas and Holiday inspiration to us all! For those who are local get your pre-reserved tickets to the Holiday Ideas and Inspiration for the Home HERE. It’s open until December 13, 2020.
Hope you enjoyed the Holiday Inspiration at Bachman’s!
What a Fabulous morning I had, devouring this entire post and the pictures! Twice, I would like you to know. It was an incredibly endless display of Christmas and all it’s minutia which is contributed from everywhere throughout the world. The settings were like movie props from every Christmas special I have ever seen. It filled a large hole that has been eaten into my soul from this past year or so. I think I can take a deep breath and hope for all of us now. Thank you for one of this best things I have found online this year. Wonderful!
Glad you enjoyed it, Koni! Thanks for your sweet words:)

Your welcome!
It’s all what our imagination can come up with and their designers did a great job. Great ideas and some I’m going to copy in my own home, like the bulbs hanging from the ceiling. Such a simple idea and yet makes for a striking entrance.
Yes, definitely a glamorous look! Glad you got some good ideas!
I wish we had a Bachman’s around here. At least I got lots of beautiful inspiration. The gnomes were cracking me up! I’ll leave those for someone else. LOL.
