  19. That is so original! It would have hurt my heart to mess up sheet music – how did you decide what to use?? I follow your blog because I am a blogger always on the lookout for well-written blogs to learn from, by people with similar values and world views. I can’t remember how I found you – maybe through Adirondack Girl At Heart.

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

Yes, Diana at Adirondack Girl @ Heart and I are friends, and she has been a wonderful mentor through the years! Glad you found your way here, Jana! I have seen a lot of old music through the years, and know I appreciate it even more when it is applied to a project like this than not being able to see it packed away;) Have a Merry Christmas!

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

      Wonderful, Cyndi! Thanks for following:)

  28. I have been obsessed with miniatures for years. I would add a collection of animals playing instruments to your case. I just scored a set of 4 Santas (vintage plastic) playing musical instruments that I will eventually put into a scene. SOMEDAY I will make a tiny scene (with what were probably dollar store type pigs) in a one pound canned ham can! I had a friend who says God won’t let you die until you finish all of your projects; I’m going to be VERY OLD!

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

I love these creative ideas, Kathy! Yes, miniatures on these little shelves would be adorable; maybe that will be after Christmas:) And not dying until we finish all our projects? Guess I’m going to live forever! LOL

  29. Super cute! I don’t have an instrument case, but I do have a child’s suitcase that would probably work. In fact, I have some children’s picture books that are a little ‘mouse eaten’ that could be put to use on it, too! Well I’m definitely inspired now.
I already followed you on Pinterest and now I am on Instagram!

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

Wonderful ideas; so glad you got inspired! Thanks for following:)

  34. Debra Oliver says:

Adorable idea. I agree the sheet music is perfect. I once had a very old tattered one with burgundy velvet, it was gorgeous, but I didn’t have room for it at the last move/purge. Happy Weekend!

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

Oh, those really old ones are so cool, but I totally get having to “edit” all our treasures, Debra;)

The giveaway is super this time of year for some lucky winner. Thks Donna

    1. Lora Bloomquist says:

I’ll have to check over on Pinterest, Donna. I sometimes forget to check comments over there; it’s a new thing, I guess. I have the best luck finding those frogs at church sales or garage sales. Don’t see them much at thrift stores, unfortunately:( Of course you could find some on Etsy or Ebay, I’m sure.
