  1. Oh, now I can’t wait to get a NEW crockpot! My old one is rather ratty to take to potluck meals and would be great! I bet it would be great to melt soap and candle wax, too! I have a church sale toaster oven that I use exclusively for baking polymer clay dollhouse creations–and I bet it would be good for herb/flower drying, too. I bet we could come up with a LONG list of great appliances. I always wanted to try twisting yarn with an electric drill but have never tried ti!

Thrift stores are great places to find old appliances, too, Kathy. But yes, get yourself a new one to take to potlucks!

These are brilliant! I have never seen glue pillows, where do you buy them? Also, could you throw some glue gun sticks in the pan and get the same results or is that different?
I’m off to find a spare immersion blender for my paint project!!! ?

    1. Glad you think so, Elisabeth! I got the glue pillows from a floral wholesaler, but feel like I’ve seen them at craft big box stores. I’ve honestly never tried melting the sticks, so can’t be much help with that:( Good luck!
